Yrs 3 & 4 enjoy a weekly session of singing, rapping and playing a classical (Spanish) guitar.They play songs about a variety of subjects, Christmas or anti-bullying and even write their own raps. 

They are also taught how to improvise on the guitar.They are taught musical terms, e.g. tempo, forte, etc. and performances are arranged during the year for parents and the school.Yrs 5 & 6 progress from these weekly sessions, as they are encouraged to attend a lunchtime guitar club.

Here they are taught how to read music and play more complex songs and tunes on their instrument.
