Pupils are set homework on a regular basis in order to consolidate work covered in lessons. Teachers will mark homework with the children during next day’s lessons in order to prevent any misconceptions. In order to support children, it would be helpful if parents would ensure that homework is completed independently.

Homework is as follows;

• Reading daily (at least 15minutes) 
   
• Spelling lists based on word families are given and tested weekly.
   
• Daily Times tables practice.
   
• Maths

Will be given every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, homework is to be return the following day.

• Literacy

Will be given every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, homework is to be return the following day.
