We visited the World Museum in Liverpool recently to support our history topics. We did a fantastic workshop on the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age where we talked about what we knew about the topic already, before getting to handle real artefacts from these periods. Our favourite part was getting to grind wheat and trying on helmets!

We also did a trail around the museum to find out all about Ancient Egypt, which we will be studying soon. We looked at pyramids and pharaohs mostly, but we also touched rocks from this time and found out all about what they used for currency.
