At St John’s we have a fantastic community of supportive parents and carers, who are keen to help the children develop to their full potential, and give them the best opportunities they can!

We are currently recruiting for more volunteers to join our group – The Friends of St John’s, which is run by the parents of our children in order to make the children’s experience of St John’s the best it can be!

Our volunteers can be completely flexible in what they can offer our school and our children. It may be that you love organising events, or visiting or calling local businesses. You may have computer skills and be able to help with creating materials to support our events. You may have contacts in various shops or organisations and be able to access support from them. We welcome parents and carers who have skills or experience in any areas, and who just want to make a difference to our children’s lives, and give something back to the community!

Many of our parents have said that it is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, and to give them a chance to make connections within the school community.
