This half term we had the animals from Acorn farm visit us! We learnt all about the different animals and their young. In class we played with our small world farm, played phase 1 farm animal sound games and made painting and collages of our favourite animals. We loved learning 'Old McDonald had a Farm' and played ring games including 'The farmer's in his Den'. We loved our story focus 'What the Ladybird Heard' and we are so good at talking about features of a book including the front and back page, title, author and illustrator. We have had lots of outdoor fun and have enjoyed hunting for minibeasts in our woodland area.
