Spelling Bee 2

Spelling Bee (our annual spelling competition) was great fun. So many children participated which was fantastic! There were many challenging words so the children who made it to the final did a great job. Well done to all of the children who participated!

This competition is for children in years three to six. All children are invited to take part in the competition.

Any child who wanted to take part took home a spelling list before half term. They could then learn the words on the list to help them to prepare for the competition.

In addition to words on the word list the competition included a range of challenge words linked to word families and spelling patterns taught in class.

Prizes of book vouchers are awarded to the winner and runner up in each year group.
