ELG 014 – live and kicking
(Reception)
For our topic alive and kicking the children had an input into the class planning.
They told us “they wanted to find out about animals and their babies”, where they live, what they eat, where they sleep etc so we planned a trip to the farm.
Firstly they discussed what they knew about animals and their young, what we wanted to find out when we got to the farm then we planned a risk assessment for our trip.
We met Old Mc Donald and asked questions
Then it was time to meet the animals.....
..... and their babies.
We found more new life and the children captured it using the digital camera as well as signs and notices around the farm. We ended are trip by exploring the play area.
