Look at what we have been up to! 2022-23

Wow!  What a year it's been!  

In Come and See we have been exploring the ceremony of Baptism.  The children earned about the symbols of Baptism and re-enacted the ceremony.

We visited Kingsley and Co Bookshop to develop our love of reading for pleasure!  We even came away with our favourite book.

We have been looking at Animals including Humans.  We can classify these animals by what they eat.  We earned some new vocabulary - carnivore, herbivore and omnivore.

On our trip to Croxteth Park, the children were able to apply their knowledge of animals and what they eat.  They were also most excited to see Santa and receive a present!

Year 1 have been using adjectives and our 5 senses to write a poem about what we experienced on our Autumn walk.
