History at St John's
Year 6 loved their trip to Western Approaches, learning lots about WW2 and visiting a secret bunker!
Year 4 explored Roman Chester for their history topic. They stormed the amphitheatre and the streets of Chester as well as practising turtle formations ready for battle.
Year 3 visited a stone age site where they made homes out of logs, tree trunks and sticks, wore animal skin clothes and made sparks using flint! They finished their very cold day into the woods with some roasted marshmallows.
Year 3 used their enquiry skills and explored the chronology of phones before looking at the chronology of the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.
